A Message from the President — Lawyer Poovong Posai

Greetings,
My name is Lawyer Poovong Posai,
President of the Thailand Lawyers Network.

The title “President” was not one I chose for myself.
It is a title given to me by our members — out of trust and confidence.

I am the founder of the Thailand Lawyers Network,
which I began building in 2005, continuing steadily to the present day.

The beginning was not grand.
It started with one simple idea:

One day, people will search for lawyers on the internet
more than relying on word-of-mouth.

At that time, it was the era of
33K dial-up internet,
Windows 95,
no Google —
only Internet Explorer and Netscape.

I saw the direction clearly from that very moment
and decided to take action immediately.

Looking Back to 2005 — The First Day of the Thailand Lawyers Network

In 2005,
there was no online database of lawyers in Thailand.

I took a lawyer appointment notebook,
which contained names and phone numbers of lawyers at the time,
and began uploading that information onto a website:

As one of the very first lawyer-directory websites in Thailand,
the site quickly ranked at the top of search results,
simply because there were no competitors yet.

Recognizing that the future belonged to the internet,
I began inviting lawyers from across the country
to join the network.

😅 The Early Days — When Few Believed This Was a Real Lawyers Network

As lawyers gradually joined the network,
many people questioned:

“Is this some kind of criminal network?”

At that time, the word “network” often carried negative connotations.

However, as lawyers witnessed
my genuine commitment, transparency,
and the operational systems I designed,
trust grew steadily.

Before long,
the network expanded to over 500 lawyers nationwide.

The Early Case Referral Fee System — Fair and Transparent from Day One

From the very beginning,
I established a simple and fair referral model:

• If legal fees were below 10,000 THB → 500 THB contribution
• If legal fees were above 10,000 THB → 1,000 THB contribution

No percentage cuts.
No hidden commissions.
No concealed conditions.

The purpose was solely to cover operational costs
and ensure the sustainable growth of the network.

Meeting Members Twice a Year — Our Culture of Professional Brotherhood

We organized network gatherings twice a year,
bringing together lawyers from across the country
to meet, connect, support one another,
and share case opportunities.

This became the foundation of
a true professional brotherhood,
which remains strong to this day.

Growth of the Network — Websites, Facebook, Line, and a Nationwide Database

As the digital era expanded, so did the network:

• The central Lawyers Network website
• Provincial lawyer websites nationwide
• Facebook Pages for every province and district
• Nationwide Line groups for lawyers
• A comprehensive member database system

These developments transformed the network into
the largest legal hub in Thailand.

The Next Step — Entering the Era of AI “Niti”, the Legal Assistant of Thailand

Today, the Thailand Lawyers Network never stands still.

We continuously adopt innovation
and have entered a new era with an AI system called:

“Niti” — The Legal Assistant of the Thailand Lawyers Network

AI “Niti” is designed to:

• Answer preliminary legal inquiries from the public
• Screen legal issues efficiently
• Connect clients directly into the legal system
• Recommend provincial lawyers automatically
• Operate 24 hours a day
• Reduce the burden on public relations teams
• Increase consistent case opportunities for lawyers

AI does not replace lawyers.
It is designed to enhance legal work and expand opportunities
for every lawyer in the network.

From a small website created in 2005,
the network has grown into:

• Hundreds to thousands of lawyer members
• Nationwide coverage across all provinces
• Daily case referral systems
• National-scale legal websites
• A 24-hour AI legal assistant
• The strongest lawyer community in Thailand

From the moment I believed that
“people would one day search for lawyers online,”
that vision has now become reality.

And we were the ones who opened that path
for Thai lawyers to enter the digital era.
